Ken's Corner
Here is a short observation that will help you to get your car repaired quickly and correctly
On a typical day here at Gustafson Brothers, we see 30 to 40 customer's cars (including after hours drop offs). While most of the cars are here for simple services such as oil changes, smog tests or brake repairs, some are here because their cars are not working correctly. Some are not working at all and have to be towed in.
Things can get busy at times during the day and with that said; we could miss important details in regards to what it is that you, our guest, are trying to explain.
I'm sometimes guilty when it comes to forming an opinion on what is wrong with your car before you are done trying to explain the problem. I thought I'd write a little about it this month and offer a few suggestions.
If your car is acting up, try writing down the details of the symptom and bring that in with you. Use your own words to describe the problem and rest assured that we'll translate as needed for the technician.
When it comes to repairing your car right the first time, the more information we have, the better we'll be prepared to get the heart of the matter! This even becomes more important when doing a night drop. If you are dropping your vehicle off before or after hours, having information like this makes a world of difference when expediting repairs on your car.
Include your scratch notes along with the key when you use our night drop envelope. That will allow us to get it right the first time.
